These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the OccuHealth Solutions website at occuhealthng.com, including the purchase of and access to any online course offered through OccuHealth Academy. Please read these Terms carefully before completing your purchase.

Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing a course or creating an account on our platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are purchasing on behalf of an organisation, you warrant that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms

These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and OccuHealth Solutions. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not proceed with a purchase.

Course Access

Upon successful payment, you will receive access to your purchased course for a pre-defined access period specified on the individual course page (“Access Period”).

During the Access Period, you may access and complete all course materials, assessments, and resources included in the course. OccuHealth Solutions does not guarantee that course content will remain available after the Access Period expires

If you require an extension of your Access Period due to exceptional circumstances, please contact us at services@occuhealthng.com. Extensions are granted at the sole discretion of OccuHealth Solutions and are not guaranteed.

You are responsible for ensuring you have a compatible device, a stable internet connection, and any software required to access the course platform.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

All course purchases made through OccuHealth Academy are non-refundable

By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and agree that no refunds will be issued once access to the course has been granted, regardless of whether you have accessed the course content or completed the course within the Access Period.

In the exceptional event of a technical failure attributable solely to OccuHealth Solutions that prevents you from accessing a course, we will investigate and, where appropriate, extend your Access Period or provide an alternative remedy. We do not offer cash refunds in such circumstances.

We encourage you to review the course description, intended audience, and learning objectives carefully before purchasing.

Intellectual Property

All course content made available through OccuHealth Academy including but not limited to videos, audio recordings, written materials, assessments, graphics, worksheets, slide decks, and certificates is the exclusive intellectual property of OccuHealth Solutions.

Your purchase grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, personal licence to access and use the course content for your own professional development during the Access Period. This licence does not transfer any ownership rights to you.

You may not reproduce, distribute, publicly display, create derivative works from, sell, or otherwise exploit any course content without the prior written consent of OccuHealth Solutions.

Acceptable Use

By purchasing a course, you agree to the following conditions of use:

  • •    Your login credentials are personal and non-transferable. You must not share your username, password, or access link with any other person.
  • •    You must not allow any other person to access the course using your credentials or on your behalf.
  • •    You must not screenshot, record, copy, or redistribute any course materials or content in any form.
  • •    You must not use course materials for commercial purposes, including for resale, delivery of training to others, or incorporation into other products or services.
  • •    You must not engage in any conduct on our platform that is unlawful, offensive, or harmful to other users or to OccuHealth Solutions.

OccuHealth Solutions reserves the right to revoke access to any user found to be in breach of these acceptable use conditions, without refund.

Limitation of Liability

OccuHealth Solutions provides its courses on an “as is” basis for the purpose of professional development and knowledge building. While we make every effort to ensure that course content is accurate, current, and professionally produced, we do not warrant that the content is error-free, complete, or suitable for any specific purpose beyond that described.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, OccuHealth Solutions shall not be liable for:

  • •    Any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, our courses or platform
  • •    Any decisions, actions, or omissions made by you or your organisation in reliance on course content
  • •    Any interruption, delay, or technical failure affecting access to the platform that is beyond our reasonable control

Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, including any dispute regarding their existence, validity, or termination, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Changes to These Terms

OccuHealth Solutions reserves the right to update or amend these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our platform following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
